Specialized Services

Psychological Services: psychological assessments and consultations are available, when needed by our staff, to help inform treatment and client needs.  Due to these resources being very limited, and the belief that such services should be part of a larger treatment plan, external referrals for psychological services are not available.

Psychiatric Consultations: CMHLG has access to child and adolescent psychiatrists through Hotel Dieu as well as CHEO and ROH through tele-psychiatry.  As a psychiatric consultation is usually part of a larger treatment plan, external referrals are not available.

Pediatric Consultations:  CMHLG has access to a pediatrician one day a month.  Referrals need to come through one’s family doctor.  Our pediatrician has specialties in Attention Deficit Disorder and school related behavior concerns.
